    Congrats @HavingitAll! How exciting!!

Does IVF increase your chances of having a boy or is it just a coincidence that most of us are UTD with boys?!?

Naturally there is a slightly higher of a boy than girl (not sure why) but with IVF its 45% girl to 55% boy. ....the male sperm swim quicker than the female ones but don't live as long so maybe in IVF its higher cos they're faster and havent got as far to swim to the eggs in the dish?! Congrats @HavingitAll

    Oh no @KitiK. Dammit!
I did a urine test today with just a small amount of blood so that's some good news for now but have to go back for another one in a few weeks to confirm all is still good

Oh, I hope it is ok @BabyOB, when is your follow up? Is it just blood (is there anything else in there?)

They are sending mine away to "culture" at the moment. I have amoxycillan to take in the mean time. Pooh, was hoping to be all clear this time!! I wasn't too worried about the protien given it usually shows up with a uti and blood pressure is ok for now, so not likely to indicate PE... thank goodness. Next hurdle the GTT - will book in, in 2 weeks time...

Also got weighed at the Dr - came in at 78kg 😭 I think my scales are wrong...

Apparently all is ok as it was only a really small amount @KitiK & nothing else there. Mind you, I am in a very small town & they won't be sending my urine away until Friday for further checks. As i have just finished my course of antibiotics, the doc decided to not do anything at this stage. Follow up will be before my next OBS 19th January unless I have troubles prior. You know, no need to rush these things ;-) Hope all clears up for you soon!

I'm too scared to hop on the scales. Does your doc weigh you each visit? Mine doesn't
