@Tilkah I just noticed you had a double transfer - the other possibility is that both embryos started growing and one has stopped, meaning the hcg could seem to plateau because one isn't releasing it anymore. (This has happened to me as well.) i don't know if that suggestion is helpful either, sorry. :/

@Tilkah, you poor thing, tests can be so evil. I've never used the digital ones so I'm not sure how reliable they are but I would say for your own peace of mind to go and get another BT tomorrow. Go to your GP if your clinic won't do one. One thing we ivf girls are good at is worrying and most of the time it's unnecessary and all is fine. Best of luck. Hope you can keep your mind off it today.

@Tilkah there is a huge variance in the clear blue digitals but for peace of mind is go see your GP. It's possible your HCG is now too high for the clear blue and you are getting a false result as well. Some women test really late into the first trimester and get almost negatives until they dilute their pee because the tests all work best within a range so too much HCG is a problem.

I also doubt that your hcg has fallen from 8000 to under 3220 (the threshold for 3+ weeks) in that space of time. HCG goes up fast but is achingly slow to go down.

Good luck though, I can imagine how terrified you are.

    Just read this online: http://www.babycenter.com.au/thread/...ion-indicators

I think you'll be fine @Tilkah but go for a BT just to ease your mind

Hi ladies, sorry didn't have time to read through all the posts but all looks like you doing well. Congrats @ScubaGal on the boy confirmation
Just wanted to let you guys know. We got the chromosome results from our missed miscarriage. Was monosomy X. So not a good one and 99% of bubs miscarry or are still born. So kind of glad in that aspect that we had a miscarriage early rather than a stillborn or late miscarriage.

Great to hear from you @woof5105 and glad you've gotten a conclusive answer, I imagine it helps knowing there was a reason. Hope you are doing ok. Do you have any plans for another transfer?

Thanks. It does provide such a relief. It still sucks but I know that if definitely wasn't anything I did or didn't do ... Despite what everyone tells you, there's still that part of you that brings the blame squarely onto your own shoulders.

I feel okay with it mentally which I am surprised about. Was a tough break but the alternatives would have been tougher.

We will try another transfer in the 2nd half of next year. I am focusing on making my health as close to perfect as I can, getting fit etc. could do with losing a few kilos after the ivf hormones! They piled the weight on! And we are going to Europe next year as well so will wait til we are back before another transfer. Don't really want morning sickness whilst traveling!

So nice to hear from you @woof5105. I've been hoping you're doing ok. As hard as it is I imagine having an answer does provide some relief. I hope your next transfer is the one for you. You sound like you've got lots on between now and then. Enjoy taking care of yourself and your holiday. Take care. Xx

Congrats @Grace1 on the 12 week milestone! Did you find out (want to tell us if you know) your baby's sex with the harmony test or are you keeping it a secret/suprise?

Feeling very lucky, 2 friends have given me so many gorgeous little boys clothes I wont have to buy any clothes until he is 2!
