I was actually kind of sick this time (vomited a few times) but yeah found that eating was the best 'cure' - it's like eat now or vomit soon. I did have 24 hours where I couldn't keep anything down and it was awful so I get that MS isn't just an easy way to stop packing on weight! I put on 22kg with my last pregnancy though and do NOT want that to happen again but given all I want to do is eat (and rubbish food at that) I'm probably on track for even more.

Definitely - and I don't know about you ladies but I definitely felt with #1 that because we had struggled so much to get pregnant that I had no right to complain about anything to do with actually *being* pregnant, because that would seem ungrateful or something. Then I realised that 1. People who don't struggle to get here complain lots so why should they have it easy both times? And 2. Pregnancy can be kind of sucky! (Getting to have a baby is amazeballs, growing one can make you feel pretty gross though!)

Hmmm talking about weight, I weighed myself this am and have lost about 2.5kgs since getting pregnant. BUT I still can't button my shorts or jeans up-go figure!! I think it's all come off my boobs- always the first place I lose weight !!

Ah hell yeah I complain. I think the opposite. I figure our two years of hell to get preg has more than earned me the right.

Don't worry too much, those puppies will be back with a vengeance soon! Yep

Hi ladies. I'm after some reassurance please. I stupidly used my last clear blue digital test. Not my FMU either. Rather saying 3+ weeks as it did last Monday, it's now reading 2-3 weeks. I am freaking out. My HCG levels on Wednesday were 8630. Is it possible for them to have dropped so dramatically? I've had no cramping or bleeding. Just ongoing nausea and random acts of hunger. Should I go and get bloods taken tomorrow morning? Or just wait until Wednesday which should be 6 weeks. I am freaking out :-/ Thanking you in advance for any advice at all xx

I've had them say 2-3 weeks when my HCG was in the 4000s, and supposedly over 2000 it says 3+, so they're not super reliable in that way. On the other hand I had what you describe happen a few years ago and I miscarried. I'm not saying that's what's happening to you (and I'm sorry to even mention it given that you asked for reassurance) but if I were you I'd probably either buy some more tests or get bloods tomorrow or both. Good luck - hopefully it's just a dud test or the lack of FMU. Xxx

Reading your post again, I don't see how they could have dropped from over 8000 to under 2000 in such a short time, so I'd say it's a dud test.

I would say not using FMU is the problem.
