Basic Chocolate biscuits
Breakfast: scrolls with spinach, feta, ricotta, topped with bacon and more cheese!
Dd2s 3rd birthday today and here is her cake. I spent all day baking it, leaving just half an hour to quick cool it in the freezer and decorate it. Luckily I was able to make Olaf in between cooking cake layers. The sand is crushed up ginger bread house left over from Christmas!
I don't have a picture, but I tried the 120 biscuits for $5 recipe this week. They came out really well and I love the fact that I have another 9 rolls of cookie dough in the freezer ready to just cut and cook.
The recipe I had only called for 250g of butter but I've seen most of them use 500g. I might try more butter next time as they are quite firm and would be nice a bit more melt-in-the-mouth. I also only used 2/3 cup of sugar and they are still more than sweet enough!
