    Yes, I used about 1 tsp baking powder added to 1/2 cup plain flour plus 1/2 cup almond meal.

    Yesterday I baked my ds's first birthday cake. Had to share because I'm a baking novice and am rather proud with how it turned out. It's a 3 layer butter cake with buttercream icing. Cupcakes are the same.
