@shani2 This is the recipe i used: http://www.kitchenklatsch.com/2010/0...cake-ever.html

Mum used to buy them all the time from a german bakery when we were kids and it was my favourite cake. When i went back to the bakery a few months ago (they have new owners now), they no longer make this cake and i was very disappointed so i decided i'd make my own.

Curly bird you belong on a reality TV cooking show !! How talented geeeeezus .....my cakes are always on a slant, my cookies are always different sizes and my slices well they don't look like that chocolate macadamia one let me tell you. I call my baking rustic haha very very rustic 😁

I'm seriously in love with you girls I love baking - it's so nice to see I'm not alone!!!

Just wish I wasn't 39 weeks pregnant. I'm missing whipping up something in the afternoons... I've had to resort to buying biscuits don't tell anyone!

Love this thread. In the past week I've made homemade sausage rolls, PM's weetbix chocolate slice and Dench anzac biscuits. Didn't take photos but am loving feeling inspired
