    Thats ok that happened to us last year as dh went from fifo to working locally. I over estimated by about $20k. It just meant we got a nice rebate

    I probably didn't read it properly as we only ever claim at the end of the financial year.

    We overestimate every year as would rather get back pay than a debt

    My husband gets commission so we have a variable income too. We overestimated so that we were earning too much and then claimed it back at tax time.
