I LOVE THIS THREAD !!!! THANKGOD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH A CRAP EATER !!!

DD since she started solids has been terrible eater...was low birth weight at birth and always has been on 3rd percentile...it doesnt help that all my close friends have kids who are eating machines ...i know i shouldnt resent them but i do..

at daycare she eats abit better (as per her educators), but home...most meal times the main item she has 3,4 bites and that it; i've tried so many dishes, different cuisines..nothing works ( shes ok with yoghurt and fruit atleast)..
i;ve followed dietician advise, reward chart, begging her to eat, different plates/utensils..so many things but it doesnt work ...
someone said its hereditary but DH and I love food and were big eaters as babies...

oh I could hug all you mums ...it is comforting to know i'm not the only one

Here's today's morning offerings, all completely untouched, except for one tiny nibble in the corner of one piece of toast.
Breakfast the first was Nutrigrain- no deal.
Breakfast the second was scrambled eggs with ham and spinach and some toast- no deal.
So far she's eaten half a banana.
It's gonna be one of those days, methinks.

I tried to get DS2 to drink a smoothie today. I put banana, strawberries, grapes, cucumber, yoghurt, milk and a bit of milo in it in the hopes chocolate would make it acceptable - 3 sips then he screamed at me for putting fluff in it (wtf?) So there goes that idea.

Not in the right frame of mind to be fighting this fight today.

Dd is cutting her bottom molars so she's off her toast and pasta. She's eaten yogurt and KFC chips today. Will never turn down chocolate though lol.

It was the promise of an ice cream I think. He ate pumpkin! And carrot and 3 bites of his corn and 3 cheerios. The most he has eaten at dinner in a long long time.
