I hope you are feeling a little better. I agree with the others that it would be good to seek help. Your Gp is a great start, mine was so wonderful with me when I went through a period I my life when I felt this way. I suffered from depression for many years and really needed to talk to someone who did not judge. Take Care

Thanks everyone for your support. I was fooling myself when I posted I was ok, I think I just didn't want to "make a fuss". I know things are bad because I found myself doing searches for "suicide spots" on my phone tonight . I've got meds that have been prescribed but they knock me out so much I can't function. I'm seeing a doc later in the week but I'm not sure how much more of this sorry existence I can take.

You need to talk to someone now. It will help. Call beyond blue, lifeline or head to e.d. Great big hugs. I have been there myself and it does get better

Please seek help straight away. I think lifeline have an online chat if you don't like talking on the phone? I've done similar searches in my time, and I know where my head was at when I did them. Do you have someone nearby that can come and sit with you for a while? Please, please don't be afraid or embarrassed to ask for help. You matter. Can you take half a dose to take the edge off? Please keep checking in with us...

Just know you're not alone. Please speak to someone, anyone, just let someone know you're suffering and need help.
