Just had to brag a little. I am in love with my recently acquired ring sling. It is oscha braids 'norse'. It is amazing. Even being unbroken linen/cotton I was able to wear my 18mnth old DD for the whole grocery shop without being uncomfortable. I have to get a photo of it though. The colours are amazing! I am hoping to break it in before I welcome my new squish to the world in april. Then it will be my bubba sling (especially in summer) and I can use the wraps or manduca for DD. I love new pretties!

I keep getting confused as to what I want to buy as far as a wrap goes.
I know I want a size 6 but that's it! Any advice as far as pattern for a newbie? Am I better off buying a rainbow or colour blocked wrap so I can tell the different rails apart or does it not make much difference? I have a rainbow rs and would prefer a different pattern but not sure if that's the best idea for a starter wrap. Any advice?
I say go with something you absolutely love as you will be more likely to persevere with it if it's hard. My first wrap was a vatanai tintagel as it is a 6, cotton and really pretty. I have never had a rainbow. I recommend looking at the Natibaby wraps. My fav brand as the patterns are gorgeous!

I was just browsing the BWBSS page and thought "hey, I've seen that stash before!"
It was kind of exciting to recognise someone 'in the real world'

How do you deal with baby wearing in the summer? I have a 6 and a half month old and an ergo original. I've only been confident enough to wear it around the house. With DS and I both just wearing singlets we get major sweaty hanging out the washing. I walked down the road and had to turn around because it was so hot too.
