Default Looking for other baby wearer's

The baby wearing buy swap sell page is awesome! I stalk it so much, ha ha. I'm a complete newbie but I love our ring sling. It's one of the best baby things I've bought. I bought it off the page and it's a girasol rainbow with a black weft. Love it.
I'm ISO a natibaby golden giraffe or Jaffy giraffe in a ring sling - I'm not quite up to wrapping yet. All the metres of fabric are a bit intimidating. That's part of the reason our moby wrap hasn't been used yet - there's just too much of it!

Any thoughts on whether a linen/cotton blend (golden giraffe) or hemp/cotton blend (Jaffy) would be best for a squish? My DS is 5 weeks. We live in FNQ so cooler is better!

I have 1 x canvas toddler tula, brown canvas with happy elephant print
1 x canvas standard tula, black with front pocket
and I have a custom made full buckle wrap conversion done by sweetness, made from a Girasol RR Azul DW with a hoody hood and dragon applique. It's an in between size and fits my 16 month old and 3 year old beutifully. I use it every single day. I should really sell my Tula's because I never use them anymore. I've had heaps of wrap, wring slings and carriers of every type, but I'm really just happy with my one carrier now, I love it so much I don't feel the need for a stash anymore. I also have a lot of my RR wrap left after the conversion so I really should decide what to do with that.

This is my custom conversion when I first got it, he's a bit bigger now and fits him better, I love it. We go walking with him on my back almost every day and love love love. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1411536322.132812.jpg

Probably a stupid question, but whenever I see babies in carriers their heads always look like they are in a bad position, especially when they are asleep - tipped backwards or to one side or their face pressed into the wearers chest. So is it really safe to wear a sleeping baby? Considering getting a ssc to wear ds for all his day sleeps but I need to make sure its safe

Very safe as long as you follow the guidelines. The only position you listed that I'm not happy with is tipped backwards. With a squish as little as yours I would use a stretchy wrap and sit their head sideways, although mine does prefer a face plant into the boobies.

Agreed. Mine always had their face turned to the side, resting against my chest.
OP, if you follow the TICKS guidelines, baby wearing is very safe.

Very safe. Most SSC come with a hood too which helps if they're on your back.
