Unfortunately the GP didn't take progesterone results... but she did tell me that my numbers were on the low side and that the lack of doubling was concerning. I had a meltdown that night & called my IVF specialist in tears, and they had me come in the following day.

17dpo was 246. I asked what my progesterone was & she said 'perfectly high' but didn't give me the levels unfortunately. Is your friend on pessaries?
Thank you Hun, she is reading along , so thank you on her behalf ! She is on pessaries. From what I've read is that it can totally go either way, but by gawd it's awful, as you know,to spend so long awaiting that BFP only to be landed with this.

I totally understand the walking on eggshells. After IVF, I wish this process was easier and smooth sailing. xxx

Just wanted to pop in & let you know I've been in a similar situation... unfortunately it did not work out well (but figured it's important your friend is realistic/prepared etc).
My first BT at 9dp5dt was 86 and two days later at 11dp5dt it had only gone up 10 to 96. Spotting started a couple of days later and I miscarried a few days later.
Hope your friend has a better outcome x

thanks darling. Yeah, it's always a balance between hope and realism and making room for the mystery of life. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you too, it's never easy. Xo

Will do girls. She doesn't have the clinic BT until next Tuesday so is understandably anxious with the wait. Sorry to hear of your loss too, @LilPilly
