Default Exclusively breastfeeding. First period am I fertile again?

This will sound a silly question as I've already had children but I am wanting another to complete our family. I am very interested in falling pregnant but last time it took three months from getting my period back. Is it a good sign it's back this early? Who uses those ovulation predictor kits? When do I use them from? Too many questions I am sorry!!

If you've gotten your period then you're fertile again because you would have ovulated a couple weeks ago.

There's instructions on the predictor kits of when to test based on how long your cycle normally is.

Even for a healthy couple it can take up to a year to fall pregnant naturally. Sometimes even longer. It's rare to happen first go.

We weren't trying but was just hoping I'd fall pregnant while breastfeeding and have a happy surprise. My period came as a shock, at first I thought it was implantation bleeding to be honest!
