Why do I bother trying to organise a play date when everyone cancels at the last minute. Yet someone else posts about a playdate and they all jump at the chance. Feeling very insignificant right now

Dh why cant you support me in putting ds down for every day nap in his rocker? Yes, I know you are completely adamant that all day sleeps must occur in the cot (unless we're out of course), but yet you say you cant take time off work to help me get ds down in his cot during the day. So im just doing what works. I dont need to hear about 'what problems/habits im creating for the future' from you constantly....

I said that to him. He finally agreed that for my own sanity & happiness (as well as ds's happiness & development) I just need to do what works but he's not happy about it. Hopefully I can get into sleep school soon anyway so then they can teach me the best way to get him down in his cot

Seriously tell him to eff off. He's not there so he doesn't get to feel 'unhappy' about it. Tell him there is no epidemic of 10 year olds that will only go to sleep in a rocker and not their bed.

Sorry but this makes me so ragey. You have been trying so hard. In fact - you know what? If he's not home he doesn't even have to know what you do, how or when. He should be supporting you to do what you need to be functional and happier than you have been. Or offer to swap places with him for a week and see what miracles mr I-know-everything can achieve.

DH was just talking to me about different people/townhouses in our complex. Rather than saying the single story on the corner opposite the pool he says "the one at the front with the ford ranger and the commodore". He keeps referencing people by their cars and doesn't understand why I have no idea where he's talking about. Apparently it's too hard to reference location, and DH is getting frustrated that I don't know what cars everyone in our complex drives. *sigh* men.
