Thanks I've seen a lot of QLDers say lately it's really cold, and I was just wondering what 'really cold' for a QLDer was like

DS1 is at camp today. And I want to go pick him up early cos I miss him. But I know that within 10 mins of being home he is going to be driving me crazy.

It is really odd not being able to feel the part of my face where my stitches were.

Bub wakes up at midnight, hubby gives her a drink of water then puts her in bed with us. Unbeknownst to me, he gave her her drink bottle IN our bed then didn't take it off her when she finished drinking. So we just woke up at 3am to an empty water bottle, a drenched baby and a soaking wet bed, through to the mattress. We re-made the bed but obviously no one could sleep where the huge wet spot was, my side was dry but I let hubby stay in bed and I'm sleeping on the couch because he's too tall for our couch. Can't wait until we move into our new house and get a spare bed!

I was going to do some baking with the kids this morning but I am all out of eggs.

Somebody (dh I think) turned a whole bottle of milk into chocolate milk. Here I was thinking I have another bottle of milk for baking

Actually hoping dd doesn't go straight down tonight so I can hide in her dark room from the rest of my family for a while. I feel very unappreciated and df sometimes makes me feel that way the most. I'm not making any money, so we couldn't possibly have a wedding until I'm back at full time work. Which who knows when that will be. I can't walk into the laundry without dd getting hysterical. And he mentioned tonight that he will want some of my tax return to buy a 50cc motorbike "for the kids".

Well no. Stuff that. I don't feel do keen about them getting on a motorbike. They're not going to be sporting gods, get over it. I work damn hard at home 24/7 for very little pay and recognition. I may have nothing in mind to spend the tax return on, but I would damn sure never ask you for money if the roles were reversed.

I really should be careful what I wish for- dd has translated the request to take longer to go to sleep tonight as permission for a full on strike. 40m total map time today plus crazy behaviour is making me wish I could run away.
