Yep, but I'm from SA originally. I love the idea of daylight savings. I love it whenever I'm back down south and we can still do things til 8pm or so. I hate coming home from work at 7 and it's dark already. It's depressing when you can be at work for 12hrs and only see sunlight for 20min on the drive to work (not always access to windows to the outside world).

ETA as is it my DH has to go into work an hour early now because the rest of his team are based elsewhere and the meetings would have already started and be halfway through before he would normally get there. Then because at his work he's in a team that look after the Asia pacific region, he'll then have to work back late to do things on the company network once everyone has gone home so they can take the network offline without affecting anyone. It sucks. At least with daylight savings he'd get an extra hours sleep, because at the moment he's working in both daylight savings time AND QLD time.

Spending an hour getting ds to go to sleep & then he only sleeps for half an hour.

Then after his awake time we spend up to an hour getting him to go to sleep again & he wakes again 30 minutes later & wont resettle. All day. No idea how im meant to find time to actually do anything......

Bub yells out at 3am, "poo poo!" So I go in to change her nappy and there is no poo poo. But since then she's had 2 big cups of milk, insisted on a banana which she didn't eat and then silly me asked if she has sore teeth so now she's in the ensuite, looking for her toothbrush. Bloody toddlers!

Yeh thanks DH for putting ds really high over your shoulder (ie pressing on his stomach) right after a massive feed = spew all over the table, the rug & the tablet computer

Feeds take forever these days & honestly are frustrating with ds pulling off literally every couple of minutes to look around. So now instead of having breakfast & getting ds down for a sleep so that we can go out, I now most probably have to spend yet another 30-60 minutes feeding him again, ten minutes after the 45 minute feed I just did

not to mention we will have missed the sleep window so he'll be overtired before our day even starts. Or he'll fall asleep on me during the feed im now going to have to repeat, which is a habit im trying to break.....

@heartstringz you don't have to feed him again if he vomits.

Ok, I thought he'd be hungry though, it was a huge spew

PP is right. My kids were epic spewers and I never fed them after. Sometimes spewing is their way of getting rid of the excess milk.

wifey of hubby who is always away. mother of two girls who are always amusing.

DS1 had reflux and would do huge vomits after feeds. Sometimes because I'd fed him too much and they only have tiny stomachs so it had to come back out.
