Afternoon from hell. And I just lost it while trying to dress a wriggly and screaming dd for bed and i threw a lovely big satisfying tantrum. Oh, except I'm trying to tell my boys not to behave exactly like I just did.

I've always thought adults would end up far less stressed if we threw the occasional tantrum - the kind where you literally throw yourself on the ground and kick and scream, or stamping with the arms going.
Imagine that, you're walking through target and you see all these mums on the ground kicking and flailing around with their toddlers just standing there quietly wondering what on earth is going on!

Forgot I'd been eating chilli grain waves and rubbed my eye.
Forgot I'd been eating chilli grain waves and licked bub's dummy. Loudest shriek I've ever heard!

I got out of the shower and realised I didn't bring my towel so I had to gallop wet and freezing down the hallway to get it.

I certainly surprised myself! I was heavily pregnant, it was 40+ degrees and I had just had enough. Surprisingly nobody batted an eyelid!

Watching the midday movie and getting quite in to in when its interrupted by breaking news. The breaking news is Bob Hawke paying tribute to Gough Whitlam. Really? This is so important that you need to interrupt programs for it? He was 98yo for cripes sake. It's not like it's a big shock that he's died. Why can't they just show it with the afternoon news?

Why don't we have daylight savings? At least then when the sun wakes me up in the morning it will be at an acceptable time. So over waking at 5:30 on my days off when I have no reason to be awake. Ugh. Even 6:30 would suck, but it's still better than 5:30!
