    Watching 'Ready Steady Wiggle' and wondering why do some people in the audience have to wear coloured capes over their clothes? I'm confused it's really annoying...

    I think it's because they were wearing shirts with logos or the wrong colour.. it's the only explanation I could come up with.

    I am waiting for my baklava to cool so I can try it. First time I have made it. It looks good. It smells good. I hope it tastes goods too. I also hope it doesn't go soggy.

    I swear I read that as Balaklava and was wondering why it would have to cool before you try it and why you would want to taste it

    because the recipe says so and if I break into before it cools then that's the end of that! It will be all gone before I try it cold. I have no will power!

    Balaklava.. Lol

    If it tastes good and works then absolutely! I have always wanted to make it. It is so bad but so yummy. At least the authentic ones I have tried.

    Eta: I do it up for you tomorrow.. it was sweet but nice.

    @anewme
    this is the recipe I used, except I halved the syrup (it was still plenty) and instead of using vanilla I put a few bits of lemon rind and squeeze of orange juice instead. I also used a 50/50 mix of pistachios and almonds although you could use walnuts as well. walnuts give me mouth ulcers. it made a generous 36 squares.

    Dd is refusing to go to sleep and I'm missing the block finale.

    I also need to get the washing off the line because the weather is supposed to turn nasty... Damn you, poor time management!

    And just retreading my last post I'm now wondering: I know there are lots of newer members who only use the app and who would have no idea that something like this

    Is actually an emoti from the mainsite and not me just trying to convey emotions poorly... And then because I believe people actually wouldn't know that, I feel a bit embarrassed. It's not even my problem, actually it's not evens problem at all.. I get embarrassed by the stupidest things!
