My tea tonight would've been perfect if I had capers. But I don't, and I'm trying to fool my brain by using peas instead. My brain isn't fooled, and it's boozy, so peas are apparently a very poor substitute.

There was a referendum yesterday and the Scots voted to stay part of the UK. I know many Scots who are happy with this. I personally think it would have been a bad move for them financially and there would be no going back from it either.

Asa result it is most likely the rest of in-laws will migrate elsewhere.
My DH and his family Migrated to another country.. here.. because they felt there was no future for their children. That says enough to me.

I am wondering if my idea for a 30th birthday present is silly...
Friends are having a joint 30th birthday party. (married couple) My friends have just about everything. But I thought of putting together a memory jar, get everyone in the party to write fond memories of the 2 of them, or a quote, and give them a jar of fond memories.

Now that I have written it down, it doesn't sound too silly..
