On the baby front, i'm trying! I've done EVERYTHING (including all the old wives tales) to get the baby out. I had a panic attack in target today because a tiny baby started crying a few aisles over and no one picked it up. It made me sad! I wanted to pick it up except that would be creepy!
I went for a walk today, I ate the red meat, I massaged and squeezed bits of me i've never spent so much time massaging or squeezing, eaten the spicy food, watched non stop episodes of Offspring (I hear that works for some people, especially highly emotional episodes) did some pregnancy pilates (would have been amusing for anyone watching) and have cleaned some stuff - not because I felt the need, just because I thought I was supposed to.

I don't feel any different. I put $10 on baby being induced at 42 weeks
well yes, did you watch the ep where Patrick died? although, when that happened to me, it was completely unexpected. I thought anyone but him would have been the one to die. So the shock helped!

What are your ob's thoughts on stretch and sweeps?

Ob appointment tomorrow. I will ask about this stretch and sweep business. Although something tells me that this Ob doesn't look too favourably on actually touching a vagina so he might not be up for it

maybe say something like "look, I know due to your vagiphobia that you might not think favourably upon this idea, but I'm really hoping for a stretch and sweep to help get things going. Can I book in on say, sep 13?"

Go to the shops in the extremely rare time with makeup on feeling really self conscious hoping not to run into anyone and I do.

He touched it. but not in an inducement kind of way. In a swab test kind of way New plan. Let's leave things happen naturally.

    Dear dd,
Wow! You have 6 teeth! How awesome is that?! 6 new perfectly white razor sharp teeth. I am so happy for you I would very much appreciate it though if you would refrain from reminding me of their presence during your feeds. Especially the 4am feed! I will be forced to stop supplying the good stuff once your mother reaches her limit.
    Yours sincerely,
    Your mothers raging nipples xx
