Oh yes! I missed it so much I was crying!

My eyes are stinging and watering from cutting up a shallot. I can't rub them or touch them however because I've also just cut up 4 chillies so still have the residue on my hands (learnt that lesson last time). I feel like I've been crying for a month.
Ugh i have a tickly cough that isn't funny
Looks like my team won't make top 8.
DH is watching the football. Except he's asleep but wakes every 5-10 min checks the score then goes back to sleep. So bored!!
All the kids woke up with their volume controls still broken. 9,5, and 2 years and counting.
Just took my boys to Maccas (as a bit of a make up for DF not being home tomorrow for Father's Day) and it cost me $19.30
I get around to the window, and the young lady (I feel so old saying that) took my $20 note, punched it into the computer and grabbed some change. I was watching her as she did it, looking at the screen to see how much change she had to give etc and I was thinking that it was sad she was so dependent on the computer to tell her how much change she needed for such a simple calculation.
She pushes the register shut, then looks down at her hands and calls her manager. She tells me she got the wrong change out. So we sit there waiting for a couple of minutes for the manager to come open the drawer while cars line up behind us, and I did seriously contemplate telling her don't worry about it, but I was kind of curious to see.
So the drawer is opened, she corrects her mistake and gives me my change. I head up to the next window and realise she is still wrong. I mean, she was only out by .10- she gave me .60 instead of .70. Not a huge drama.
But the teacher inside of me is really p!ssed off that a young girl of 17-19 years old can't make change to $20. It wasn't even passing into decimal point territory- it was .70 for crying out loud!

Going up hill in my car and it makes a noise and won't go into gear. So I somehow mange to roll back down hill into a car park with hitting anyone. Stop try again won't go. Call dh he says just call racq. I call arrange the tow truck and a taxi to take us home and book it into the mechanics. Dh arrives and gets straight in gear. No problems at all.
Happy it now works but now to call everyone back and cancel everything.
