@adden you should consider keeping a 'bring me more wine' bell by the bath...
I called out but he didn't 'hear' me!!
Finally worked up the courage to do a proper outing by myself with ds, so inspent half the morning getting ready & walked all the way to the train station (with the pram) only to find that the lift was out of service. The sign said to call station staff for assistance - but even if a staff member assisted me with the pram im pretty sure I couldnt carry my baby up the ridiculously long steep staircase to the footbridge. So I just turned around & came home again.
When I got home I called Qld rail & they were extremely unsympathetic, almost bordering on rude, & just said id have to call the staff for assistance & carry my baby & any bags etc up the stairs or use another station (I dont drive so this isnt possible). They refused to tell me how long before the liftbis back in service.
Or they said I should just catch a cab, but I refuse to hold my baby on my lap as its incredibly dangerous!
So much for going to mums group.....

I want to do a lot of venting today. Too much for a "not so serious" thread. But can't find the "i'm so angry I can barely see straight vent thread".
I've dropped the packet of chocolate biscuits on the floor and can't reach them because dd is asleep in my lap.
Good luck and hopefully you dont have much longer to wait.
