Using my phone I make so many mistakes. I keep thinking I have fat fingers. Might have to think about ordering a dialing wand.

You said nothing about weed or acid - should I take that to mean anything?

Stupid chemists and their polaramine recommendations - sure no worries - except in third trimester apparently when polaramine can cause seizures for babies. W in the actual F chemist people?

@firsttimemum34 what they've told you is correct. Polaramine is a category a medication which means its safe to use during pregnancy when there is a need. However with antihistamines they can be passed onto the baby and once in the 3rd trimester they have shown to have reactions to it whereas prior to this there are no reactions known.

DH says it's something to do with their stage of development. There were some medications that are not recommended because they haven't been tested during pregnancy that he was fine with me taking but unfortunately this wasn't one of them.

You also can't take it while breastfeeding because of the same reason plus it can reduce milk supply.

Really? I was told to have polaramine BECAUSE I was breastfeeding to get rid of some welts that mysteriously came up.

@Donnab739 that's the problem! The chemist never gave me that warning. They gave me polaramine. I only heard about the "not in the third trimester" thing from someone else after the chemist had told me it was perfectly safe during pregnancy. They asked a couple of questions - including how far along I was (37 weeks) and never said a word about it not being safe.
I've been taking up to 4 a day for the last 2 days and now feel freaked out about the harm I might have caused bub.
@Nomsie it wasn't chemist warehouse if you can believe it!
