    Default Best family friendly holiday?

I want something good for school aged kids, affordable, fun and also relaxing.

    Suggestions?

What about a big4 park? They usually have lots of things for kids to do and you have accommodation choices to suit your budget.

I don't mind where, but we don't have passports so if it was international I'd need to budget that in. I'm thinking of spending $3-4k. We're wanting something relaxing with a few fun things thrown in; we're about to go through a stressful couple of months so this is going to be mine and the kids reward. So nothing hectic.

Are you interested in the Gold Coast to do some theme parks? You could stay at one of the resorts like Sea World so you could have some days by the pool.

When are you thinking of going?

    End of September.
We just did the theme parks. It was fun but too busy for what I had in mind for this holiday.
