My last milestone birthday I celebrated was my 18th, my 30th is 2.5 months.

I had a party at home my parents threw me.

    My 21st I was a new mum bfing & my 25th I was pregnant.

So I'm looking for inspiration for my 30th.

My 30th was pre-kids so a big house party with friend's DJing etc.

My 40th is looming now and at first I thought I wanted a big party again, but having started to attend a few 40ths I can see that it's not just going to meet up to my expectations of a real party. They're still fun, but just a little too grown up for me!

I'm now thinking of some kind of kid-free mini-break. Just me and DH or a girlfriend spending 3-4 days at the poolside bar somewhere a million miles away.

My 30th bday.. On a beach on Majorca. Very secluded, just me and a bestie.

Dancing to music on my iPod and enjoying the beautiful view and weather.

Best day ever! (other than the birth of my kids).

A week later I fell in love with my dh so it was a great trip.

For my 40th I want to be back in Europe and preferably be at Wimbledon (my bday is in June). But with 3 young kids I doubt it will happen

I had a party at home. It was great fun! Everyone dressed up like villains and we had a few fire drums and heaps of grog, I did nibbles and then we ordered a heap of pizzas from the local awesome pizza place for dinner and it was fantastic!

My 30th I went to New York and Disneyland with Dh and dd. Now to save for my 35th so we can go away again.
Dh got himself a caravan for his 30th and we will just have some friends over.

My dad effectively managed to ruin my 18th, my 21st and my wedding. My ex-dh wouldn't allow me to do a thing for my 30th so now I am free of both of them and in 4 months time I will be 40 but unfortunately all of my money that I had saved is going towards fighting in the Family Law Court to ensure the well being of my babies. So not a lot for this milestone. Maybe when i'm 50 I will get the awesome party I hope for

Today is my 30th and rather then throwing a huge party, DH and I took a much needed break to the Barossa valley. It's been wonderful, relaxing and indulgent :-) highly recommend it

    I went overseas

I went to San Fran, New York and London!

It was my 30th. I celebrated a few months early at home with my friends and family as I was away for my birthday. Incidentally, I met my now dh when I was out with my friends celebrating my birthday early.

My last milestone birthday was my 30th last year.
I had a 80s dress up theme, I hired a function room, had all the food catered, drinks the whole hoorar and then during speeches my husband announced that we were expecting DS, by reading a "telegram" saying happy birthday mummy I can wait too meet you in 5 months time.

No one knew prior and everyone was so excited.

    Best birthday ever
