I read today that the mygov site has been crashed since Wed given the ATO is linked to CL services now via mygov and the site is just inundated.

Yes pre primary gets it. I'm in NSW so we are pre school here but if your child turns 5 this year you get it.

Also is anyone else having trouble logging on to the Centrelink app? Mine keeps saying service temporarily unavailable.
C'link website and app have both crashed for me I find logging on early in the morning usually guarantees I can get on ( an upside to my current insomnia 😆)

Do you mean if your child is in pre-school but also turned 5 that you would get it?

I worded that badly. Your child doesn't need to be in preschool to get it, they just have to turn 5 by Dec 31 this year.

To others who are receiving their first payment - it won't show on online services until around 2-3 days before you are paid. It is paid in the 1-15 July so will go in with your regular payment but if you don't see it yet don't stress. It's coming, it just isn't showing yet.

Delirium are you sure? My little one turns 5 in August but isn't at school yet, only preschool. Does he qualify for the bonus?

my middle child is now 8 but I got it when he was in preschool, 100% positive. Maybe it's changed since then?

eta I think he had just turned 5 when it first come out so maybe they need to have turned 5?
