Not the same location, but our local Library always have great holiday activities for different age groups, our library normally has craft related activities which my children love! This holidays our art gallery has some visiting artists and they are running workshops, so I have booked DD2 and DS into a screen printing class ... messy stuff I don't have to do at home.

We're also going to head to the local nature reserve with our camera's (the little ones have their own simple camera's) and we're going to have a list of things they have to take pictures of, like a scavenger hunt but with pictures.

Make a no sew winter blanket. Spotlight or lincraft. Buy 2 coordinating minky/fleece type fabric. Cut to matching size. Fringe the edges and tie in knots. Super easy and very warm and cozy.

What about hand or arm knitting, have a look on google. I'm going to do it with my 7 year old.
