Yeah it was 😊 all went well as far as we know. Gosh bub looks so big now. It's amazing to see so much development in a few weeks! The sonographer said everything was measuring well so fingers crossed it stays that way. Also got my GTT results and all clear! I'll do another one in 6 weeks or so cos that's when it's normally done but no signs of it all and in fact I had a mild hypo at the 2 hour mark cos my body was combatting the glucose a little too well lol.

That's great to hear that all went well

We have our first hospital visit in a couple of weeks- what generally happens at this appointment?

So first appointment was checking height, weight, blood pressure, urine and asking if DW is ever violent towards me 😕

They also did a mental health check via a questionnaire. They then ran through how often appointments would be and what would happen in them and they also told us about some classes the hospital offers (good for first time parents).

They also checked bubs heart rate with the doppler and that was about it I think.

In every other appointment it's been similar - weight, urine, blood pressure, check bubs heart rate plus confirming results of scans or any other tests (eg GTT) or issuing any referrals for those tests or scans (they gave me the referral for my morph so didn't have to get that one from the GP).

Hahaha yeah could be just the wait time!! Our hospital offers tours separately and at night so not in any of the midwife appointments but I guess your hospital could be different. They usually do it in groups once or twicea week so they don't have to constantly take people in there.

Oh my.... god the name debate goes on and on..... i refuse to budge on the middle name - family tradition so very important to me - but first name we are just so far apart on.... so complex.... and a life long decision!
