How are all our new babies going? I'm keen to hear about how they are growing and developing! Any milestones hit? Is everyone getting *enough* sleep? Fill me in!

DD is almost 3 months old.

I feel we are out of that newborn haze now where you don't know what day it is or if you'll ever be able to take a minutes break from breastfeeding.

DD got herself into her own little routine. Sleeps 7pm to 4am, feeds and then sleeps to 7am. We really can't complain with this!

She's giggling lots and holds her toys and has recently discovered she can put her toys / hands in her mouth.

The first few weeks were really huge for DP and I adjusting and it was very testing on our relationship. Happy to report that things are much better now and we are really enjoying this gig. We now know where we need to support each other more.

We took DD to see our FS and lovely nurses yesterday. Was a special moment and they were so thankful we went to visit. Can't recommend IVFA enough!

    How's everyone else?

I've been following your pregnancy diaries TNTH and RR. So exciting!

Our DD is 12 weeks today. Time is flying by.

She sleeps about 12 hours overnight in about three blocks, one of which is a 6 hour stretch feed to feed.

We don't have a lot of family or friends close by so for the most part we are slightly isolated. Mothers group has been great for K. She's actually getting out and socialising regularly and DD is just beginning to appreciate the other babies as well.

DD has found her hands. She brings them together a lot and to describe it, she looks like she is plotting to take over the world or something! Haha! She's only just starting to grab things now.

She's close to giggling, so close, but just not there yet. Yesterday she shook with laughter in her sleep, it was adorable.

We're hoping to get her into swimming lessons very soon. That will be something that DD and C can do on a weekly basis for mummy/daughter time which will be great.

We are so very smitten with her and she has is wrapped around her little fingers already.

Everyone keeps asking when/if we're going back for number two! We're kind of like, just let us enjoy DD first before we even think about that.

It's so exciting that there are now a few more pregnancies!

She sounds like a dream baby ❤️

May I ask where you ladies had testing times? Lack of sleep etc?

Sounds like you guys are definitely enjoying your newborns!!

I'm curious about the most challenging aspects too. I know it will vary for everyone but keen to hear what you went through in the first few weeks. Don't get me wrong, we're all here because we want that little bundle of joy but I know it's not all roses so don't feel like you need to sugar coat anything.

I feel like sometimes society would judge people for saying there are some parts of parenting that down right suck. It can't all be great all the time haha. We are all human! I'm sure DW and I will want to crawl under the sheets and hide at some point 😁

Also, if you knew then what you know now, what would you do differently? Trying to take some wisdom from you mums haha.

PS - name hunting is hard!!!
