Just had ds2's 6 week check up and he is doing perfectly. ❤️❤️
Is 50% in height and weight and about 65% for hc (which is less % than at birth, meaning his body is catching up to his head 😉)
DP did the mood questionnaire thing and scored high she said she is sad and worried about not breast feeding. I didn't realise it affected her at all let alone this much! She is expressing 3-4 times a day so sonny gets half half ebm and formula.
I wish she talked to me a bit more about this sort of stuff.
Glad sonny is doing so well tho!

I've attached a photo of Noah (ds1) and sonny's (ds2) measurements at 6w for comparison!!!

I can't believe Sonny is already 6 weeks old!!

Hugs to your DP as well. It sucks that she's feeling crappy about not breastfeeding but at the end of the day, he is being fed. Not only that, but he is still getting breast milk so yay. You are both doing a wonderful job with your babes xx

Hope your DP is feeling better soon, @almai. There's so much pressure to bf, when it doesnt come easy to most women! We had to call in a lac consultant at 2 weeks, until then i didn't realise all the different ways it can be hard. And expressing can be so tough, sitting there attached to a pump.
    Sounds like sonny is though!

Wow Almai, Sonny is sure doing just fine! Hope DP is feeling a bit better soon. It's disappointing when things don't go to plan but you're both doing amazingly!

How's everyone else going with their new little bundles?

I'm 22+4 and can't wait til October so I can meet my sweet princess!

Lol @Kazzy36 what was the fight about? At least you will be able to laugh at them later - well depending on what it was about!

Well, unfortunately, it has been one of 'those' fights which has carried over to being p*issy at each other over everything.
It started at 1130 the other night when just settling down to bed when out of the blue G told me she is doing an egg harvest in august. Because i didn't react with all sunshine and rainbows immediately, turned into a 'you dont care about me' then i reacted with 'you don't care about me or this baby' freaking tears, i tried to leave but she wouldn't let me.... anyway had to go away fod work Thursday - am still away - my parents coming to visit tomorrow & G has decided she is now going away alone for the long weekend.... so. Not really in a good place just now. Sorry to have a spew about life.
