Default Same sex parents or parents to be chat!

Goodness! You guys are right at the very pointy end now. Maybe your babes have totally run out of room to move! I honestly feel like I'm going to explode at 35 weeks so I can only imagine how squished they all are in there 😊 how far over are each of your docs prepared to let you go? Or better yet, how much longer will you both feel able to go?

So close Almai! You must be so excited.

All of your babes are pretty lucky btw, my birthday is on Monday and I can confirm that mid April is a cracking time of year to have a birthday. The weather is usually still reasonable, it falls in the school holidays, it's often on or near Easter (chocolate AND presents!) and being an Aries rocks - I remind DP frequently that even my supposed star sign "negatives" are actually positives. Well done mummas!

@Dougy our hospital have said they'll induce if We make it to 40 + 10. We have our 40 week check up tomorrow. Then they see us at 41 weeks then I'm guessing again a few days later.

I'm happy to do whatever is best for bubs although I'm just so ready. I feel like bubs has just gone through a growth spurt so I'm guessing there really is no room in there now!

My guess is we'll be seeing some babies in the next week or so! 😀

We're the same. Induce at 40+10.

I have a feeling our baby will come without being induced though... So I haven't thought too much about how much over I'll go.

How's settling in with bub going @SJ565?

We're four weeks in now, @TandR and things are going fairly well. I'm lucky that DP has a bunch of time off work and is still home with us.
She's a very good baby, but it's tiring. I wouldn't swap it for the world and all the fertility treatment etc was so worthwhile.
Would kill for some decent sleep though!

Great that DP is off with you so that you can all settle in together and enjoy these first months.

It looks as though my DP is going to be off with bub and I for a while also, which I'm sure will make things easier!

    Thanks TNTH.

We're at 41+1 and still waiting for the little one to arrive.

Hoping bub might make an appearance by the weekend but it's really just a waiting game.
