Hi my partner and I have been together almost 7 years and we have two boys 2yo and 4mo.

We used Qfg on the Gold Coast, both our boys have the same U.S. Donor and I'm the biomum to both. Our first was conceived on our third iui attempt and our second born on the second attempt. We are very blessed to have had a short and easy journey.

    Hi everyone,

This thread is a great idea. I don't know if you have already seen that there is a thread for same sex couples who are currently TTC as well?

My partner and I live in WA, have been together four years, are engaged, and started TTC in February. It's not gone to plan yet but we are staying positive. Currently in the tww 😊

Hi TandR! My fiancé and I are from Perth and planning on egg sharing for our first, next year. Extremely nervous and would love to chat about how it all went.. Laws in wa consider egg sharing surrogacy so we have to come to Sydney for it all which adds a little more stress but it will all be worth it! Glad to see we aren't alone in the scary IVF world!

Hey! Yes it's hard when all of the laws recognise it differently. We had a really good experience with our clinic conceiving this way. Our clinic stood out to us for various reasons... But it really depends on what you want from a clinic and what kind of donor you are looking to use (international vs Australian).

I'm happy to send you our clinic details of you want to direct message me.

We are currently half way through our pregnancy! It's still such an amazing miracle that my partner's one and only embryo is now our kicking and active Bub inside me. Such a blessing.

Let me know if I can help with any q's!

Hi guys myself and DP have been together for 5 years, we are from WA but living in Singapore at the moment, we initially wanted to do the IVF treatment in WA but since we want to egg-share it isn't possible, it also is illegal in Singapore so we are going to a clinic in BKK. We will be hopefully be getting the ball rolling in March. It is good to see there are a few more couples from WA going through the same process. We will eventually be moving back to WA, I will also give birth in WA so both our names will be on the birth cert.

Hi. Dp and I have been together a bit over 2 years and starting out with IUI early January. Waiting on AF which is due 29th December (most likely knowing me around 2-3 Jan). We still haven't been told whether our selected donor sperm is available and haven't paid for it yet. DP keeps telling me not to worry but I don't know. Anyway hope everyone TTC has the best of luck and gets BFPs first go!

Good luck with your first attempt @gillpill. I hope your TTC journey is a short one.

Feel free to jump in on the same sex couples TTC thread, if you haven't already.

Hoping to start up this thread again so us expecting mums don't flood the ttc thread.
