    Her bday is next month- winter in Melb, so although it'd be lovely, a park is out if the question. I think I'll take all your wise advise and just invite immediate family and best friends for an early Sunday lunch. Minimal decorations, a lovely cake, 25ppl, shouldn't be to hard!?

    Morning or afternoon tea would be easier - pick a theme and you can do cute party food!

    I did a bbq breakfast from 9-11. I pre made pikelets and did bacon and eggs on bbq .

    I only have ever done morning/arvo tea with close family for my three kids. I always make their cake but it's low fuss! I do bigger parties when they're a bit bigger and can tell me what they want to do.
