    Hoping it all goes smoothly.

I had the cramping and irregular contractions for 2 weeks and ended up going past my due date.

Damn lol. Really hope it doesn't last that long. I am trying to be optimistic but I'm also being realistic that it could easily go on for awhile yet. I'm trying to do the visualisation technique of picturing my cervix opening through the contractions and bouncing on my fit ball and walking around. Lol don't know if it will help at all but it is calming and gives me something to do during them hehe

I moved slabs of slate for our pool table the night before I went into labour.

Hey ladies very proud to announce our little girl Chelsea arrived at 11.16pm last night safe and sound. 3days early. Waters broke naturally at 1.30pm and everything progressed really quickly from there with 2min contractions that increased in intensity really quickly. Was vomiting in between contractions even after having a needle for nausea. Ended up having an epidural after being checked at 3cms and by the time the epi took effect and they went to put the catheter in I was fully dilated. After just over an hour of pushing till the head could just be seen we needed a vontuse to help her out the rest of the way as her heart rate was dropping considerably. She is a healthy 7.14pounds and 52cms. 2nd degree tear which isn't so fun. So completely in love.
