    Default Need a new washing machine

    I know this has been done to death but after shopping the other day it appears we have quite specific washing machine needs.
    Must be: front loader, BIG, have a hot and cold water inlet, water efficient and the ability to set temperature independent to cycle type.

    So far the only machine we've found is an Asko 10kg for $2500! Anyone have an Asko?

    My mum had an Asko, lasted for 15-20yrs or something ridiculous, she loved it, would never let anyone else touch it. It just recently died, and she bought a Westinghouse I think because it had the cold and hot water inlet thing (but I could be wrong), she said she would have bought another Asko, but was worried it would outlive her!

    The now state that they are tested for 20 years domestic use. I reckon that sounds pretty good!
