OK, for one I never asked for anyone to agree with me, I voiced my opinion on the show to which you called an overreaction, and secondly, how does having a bullsh!t radar equate to being a pessimist?
I'm certainly not alone in seeing that segment for exactly what it was.
I'm sorry you couldn't and you think there was no intent but there indeed WAS intent.
It's a television programme, planned and prepared.
Robyn didn't just bump into this woman and casually mention her skincare range, she targeted her. As DR Phil said himself Robyn said "She just had to meet you".
We found out just why she was so keen then didn't we.
Like I said, some people can't see it for what it was, I can.
    My opinion.
    I never called anyone dumb.

You never called anyone dumb you alluded to it by saying I fall into the category of people that hadn't twigged to your version of the truth.

I'm not disagreeing that their was a financial benefit to Robin flogging her stuff (yes it annoys me too). I just also think there was a genuine intention to help the woman. Yes I think your original post was a bit dramatic and pessimistic and yes, with comments like "some people can't see it for what it was, I can" I do think you are in a bit of a hoighty toighty mode and expect people to agree with you.

    HAHAHAHA
Ohh please, no one speak ill or the Dr Phil.
    Hoighty toighty?
    Hilarious.
Just to state again, I gave my opinion, as have others and never asked for anyone to agree. I only came back to this thread becuase you quoted me, not because I was looking to round people up in agreement.
You jumped on my post accusing me of having an overreaction but overreacting is all you have done since.
I don't think there was one strand of genuine help offered to that woman or her disgusting husband, but sure I switched off for the good of my blood pressure after I saw the shameless plug.
I hope they offered her more than bl00dy skincare because that's only reinforcing his opinion that she's not good enough the way she is.

Ellen annoys me too, she comes off as fake, hypo and too cutesy for her age, insiders have said she is a NIGHTMARE to work with that what you see is not what you get behind the scenes.

Haha - yes I roll my eyes at Ellen and feel like sternly saying 'Ellen for Christ sakes sit still for 5 mins'

I just thought of a positive about Ellen - she has lovely unusual coloured eyes

Oh oh! Edited to add AND she does have a face like a boiled egg! ( too much plastic surgery) unusual and refreshing!

Her dancing makes me happy! I feel she's such a positive person and her show is very positive, not fake at all. It's great to have something like that on tv.

Her dancing creeps my friend out so I always made a point to text her when she was dancing.

Eta: and I think she's hilarious. . I haven't watched dr Phil for years, he's on the same time as Ellen, so I don't really have an up to date opinion of him.
