Dr Oz has been grilled by US senators this week over advertising weight loss pills/diets/fads etc that have no scientific standing.

I hate all of these shows - Oprah/Dr Oz/Dr Phil - they are all awful, money-making, product pushing, terrible programs.

I can't stand The Doctors either, can't believe the show won an Emmy.
Dr Phil has gone a bit crap too. I once saw an episode where he told a woman who chose to keep breastfeeding her 2 year old that it was creepy.... I thought he didn't care what people did, as long as it wasn't hurting anyone.
Do people really think a few fancy creams keep Robin looking so youthful? She looks like she was moulded from a plastic chair leg.

Lol, daytime tv is hilarious. And so so bad!! I think it makes sahm's look so bad, even though a lot of sahm's don't even watch this crap! It's associated with sahm's.

I picked my nan up to take her to an appointment a few weeks ago and she was watching the doctors and she loves it . It's so fake and 'acted' I can't stand a minute of it because I want to punch them in the face! I am absolutely certain these 'doctors' are actually robots and you can buy the doll version in the shops. And only one female doctor, yet 97% of the audience is female and these days girls do become doctors just as much as boys do.

The only time I turn on the tv during the day on my days off is at 2pm the watch the best show ever, judging Amy!! Love

I used to be able to tolerate it but of late I just can't watch it!! It seems very hit & miss.

    They make me sick.
It's a long while since I felt like throwing something at the telly.

I can't stand The Doctors either.
Sorry to keep on about Dr Phil when the thread topic is The Doctors, but I totally agree with this! I thought they might show her some exercise techniques to do from home, or diet plans that the whole family can benefit from.

And after her self-promoting facial, she only sent her home with ONE free product! Give her the whole set for gods sake!

Sorry again - back to discussing The Doctors!

I too hate it! I was stuck the other day with dd asleep in my arms and not near the remote! It was awful!
    I do love Ellen, though!

I watch today show, sometimes that 10 show (had John Edwards on today), last nights masterchef, Ellen and ready- steady, cook. Well, its on in the background as I potter around the house doing jobs lol.

All but Ellen in my line up is Australian. It's the cheesiness of those shows like the drs and dr phil etc that I can't stand.

To me it looks like they'd all melt if they got too close to the heater.

Did you know that dr Phil's son Jay is the main producer of the drs? No wonder they are so sickeningly similar and commercial!!
