Default Hi, what a journey (IVF)

    Hi there

I have found a lot of helpful information on this forum, thanks so much. I'm about to start my 4th IVF cycle. We were very lucky that IVF #1 was successful and we now have a beautiful 2 year old son (no frosties). Unfortunately we haven't been successful in getting him a little brother or sister yet. Our issues:

    – Age (DH is 51, I am 40)
    – Sperm quality (low motility)
    – Egg quality (due to my age)

    IVF #2 – Missed MC at 8 weeks + D&C (Monosomy 21), no frosties
IVF #3 – Very early MC at 4 weeks, 2 frosties left

We have decided to do a fresh IVF/ICSI cycle with CGH testing, as I'm just so paranoid that my two remaining frosties are abnormal too. Time is ticking and I don't want to risk another untested transfer (yet). I am praying that this cycle will give me a good number of great quality eggs. Unfortunately I'm a poor responder and usually never end up with more than 1 embryos on day 5. I have been taking DHEA, CoQ10 and Melatonin and hope that will help.

I have changed clinics from FSWA (Perth) to Hollywood Fertility (Perth), only due to the fact that Hollywood offer 5-day CGH testing.

Thanks for your welcome. Unfortunately my FSH was too high to start the cycle . Instead I'm on Estrogen pills for 6 weeks. Hopefully that'll help...
