Hope for All - I'm currently arranging my meds to be send from Fertility2u in England and they say it takes approx 10 days for delivery. I have had to get my FS to send a script directly to them as they won't accept it from me. You have to ask the clinic to send the scripts for you, they won't do it automatically so I'd be emailing or calling them ASAP.

Jiks and KLM - thinking of you both xxx

Luca - how lovely re scan. It's amazing how much they do move around. So pleased it all went well. Xx

Hope - thanks to Mardi I ordered from fertility2u. I had to get Dr H to send script directly. They the charge a further £45 to transcribe, but it's still significantly less than the IPO. Just as a thought I have had it delivered to my local FS rooms so it won't hopefully be carted around in a hot van for the day.
It was shipped yesterday so I'll keep you posted on how long it takes. Xx

Exactly my reasons too Laned! And exactly what I ordered too. I think the extra $$$ is so worth not having to remember every day and the stress of packing, transporting and time differences.

    Hey guys,
well I finally got my treatment plan plus booked accommodation . We're staying in Claremont, on Cavendish Road. I looked at it on Streetview & it looked very nice with a shopping complex across the road.

the nurse said it might be cheaper obtaining the meds in Australia - is this true? I was initially going to go with synarel, just coz it seemed easier (can pop in your purse & no needles) but I've seen a lot of you talking about a once-off injection. Is there a big difference in price? And does it still work effectively?
can anyone enlighten me on the price difference of the UK pharm compared to Aus pharm? I also gave to get progynova.

I just had a look to buy the prostap depot injection at fertility2u and i just have a question for anyone who's bought this from them before - am i supposed to prepare it myself ie some sort of powder and mix them together? or does it come prepared already?

Hi Hopeforall. I'm going for the one off depot injection as I think having one injection will be much easier than daily injections and sniffs. It can be a pain when out, traveling etc. I also didn't want the Synarel as I'm worried if I sneeze I might not get the correct dose. I worry a lot.
Not sure how much the Synarel is but I know the depot injection works out to be just over $300. I'm willing to pay that to reduce stress.
The injection comes in 2 vials and you suck the liquid up and mix with the powder. It's very easy to do and comes with instructions. I've had to do it lots with IVF. If worried, I'm sure your dr would do it but it is honestly very easy.

Hi Hope, I trust you got my reply to your PM the other day. I used the app so hope it went through. From the looks of things, proganova is cheaper to get here with a script as it's on the PBS. As for the progesterone oil and any pessaries, you are better off buying them when you get to CT. Xx

Jodie - thank you for your advice re transport with child restraint. Xx
