    laned,

We stayed at the V&A Waterfront Residential Marina. It was advertised on capestay and also tripadvisor. It was 750 rands/day. The exact address was Gulmarn 101. The woman, Francoise, that manages the apt also manages about 30+ others (I think) I don't know if I am allowed to give out phone numbers here but if you pm me I can get you her phone number. It was very nice and secure, great location and Francois was available 24/7 if we had any questions or needed anything.

CAmom- yes you are next cab of the rank. Good luck.

Jiks - congrats on being PUPO with 2 blasties. Hope your TWW goes OK.

Laned - I'm sorry but I don't know about using lucrin if it makes the cycle longer. Hopefully someone else can help out. I hope your donors screening goes well today.

Patsy - we stayed at Mountain Marina apartments on the V&A Waterfront. We hired a car the whole time we were there (as it was so cheap) so just drove to clinic appts when we needed to.

AFM - we had our first scan this morning and saw one little blob measuring 7 wks 2 days with a heartbeat of 132 bpm. So great to see the little heart beating! We are both over the moon excited!!

    Hi all

Seahorse good luck with your result!! And good luck Jiks and KLM - hopefully your embies are hanging tight!

Luca, congrats! Sounds like the perfect result

Laned - congrats on choosing the donor (sorry bit behind). Tough choice regarding the sperm! Wonder what CFC would recommend

As for us, still preying the jelly bean is hanging on and waiting for the 12 week scan. Really dont like the 4 week wait between the 2 ultrasounds! Need something in the middle just for reassurance. having said that, DW has most of the symptom..she certainly doesn't mind the odd sleep or 10.

Hi and good luck to everyone else

Seahorse - best of luck for your blood test. I think you said it was today?

Jiks and KLM - congrats to you both for being PUPO. Everything crossed for those embies to snuggle in and grow, grow, grow!

Laned - congrats on getting your dates and plan. I'm sure the time will fly by and you will be in SA before you know it! Sorry I don't know about the timing of your cycle. Hopefully your dr can explain all to you.

Patsy - wow you are zooming along there. Like Laned you will be there in no time! I can't believe you are so far ahead when we picked our donor a week before you. I'd love to have booked something by now. Panicking greatly!
Tittles - it is so hard, all the waiting for scans. With my boy, I didn't buy a thing for him til I was almost 32 weeks along as I was always waiting for that next scan to make sure everything was still alright. Just remember you have a nice young embie snuggling away there!

    Hello to everyone else!

AFM - I have been reading along each day but haven't had a chance to reply til now. Don't tend to get to my computer much so usually quick replies or a check on my phone. I'm stressing about the trip big time to the point of not sleeping and continuously getting sick with one thing or another. Yes I'm an awesome worrier! Even though we chose our donor ages ago, she isn't having her testing done til next Mon and so we still haven't any set dates!!!! Work is asking for leave forms, I'm trying to organise a house sitter for my dogs, the airfares keep rising and seats getting more scarce and accommodation isn't looking great either. We really want to stay in a nice (but not too expensive) hotel as its our first OS family holiday but a lot of places are booking up and only have selected dates or really expensive rooms left!
Hopefully we can get on with booking soon. Xx

Seahorse hope you get good news soon. Great news on some frosties too.

jiks and KLM, hope your little ones are getting nice and cosy too.

CAmom, patsy, mardicharlie, laned - hope all your planning continues to go smoothly and you'll be on your way before you know it. We stayed at the Harbourview apartments which was in the De Waterkant area and close to V&A as well and we hired a car. As others have mentioned car hire is pretty cheap and roads are good and easy to get around on.

Laned, I think for memory I started the Lucrin with period and continued till donors egg collection so approx on it for around 21 days too.

Tittle, agree the waiting btw scans is tough but keep positive thoughts.

luca, it is so exciting seeing the little heartbeat. It is amazing at each scan seeing how much they grow and the little blobs turn into little people.

Afm, I can no longer see my toes without leaning forward and looking forward to seeing our little boys on Friday for our 20 week anatomy scan. Over the weekend I've suddenly been feeling lots of movement which is freaky but very exciting.
