Ironically apart from the clinic contact days I can honestly say it was the most relaxed I've been in a long time. I remember sitting on the open upper deck of the red hop on hop off bus with the sun shining and a gentle breeze blowing my hair, looking at all the other tourists wondering what their stories were. Such a beautiful time. I just know you're going to love it. xxx
Wish - I remember the email I got from you after that bus ride. I also agree completely with you regarding googling sightseeing options to help take a bit of stress away for those about to travel to CT. It truly is one of the most magical places I have ever been to and there is just so much to do there. I think if we had been there a month, it still wouldn't have been long enough.

Patsy, our donor was 29 and I didn't think for an AMH test as I was more concerned at that point that she did not carry any CF strains as hubby is a carrier. I'm now pregnant with twins and we have a frosty. I know all those questions but have faith in your decision and agree with wish and RB, enjoy googling the fun stuff now.

laned, that is poop that you never heard back from the agency. I would be nervous about the cannibus but would look at it with other things... Does she smoke, drink, not exercise regularly etc... If yes to a couple of these then I would be worried on her lifestyle and the affect of this on her eggs. If it is a once off and generally leads a healthy lifestyle then I wouldn't be so concerned. Bless you hon, it doesn't matter how often we do this it never gets any easier, follow your gut it is rarely wrong.

Luca, cannot wait for your update!

    Thanks Sunflower and Patsy. Xxx

The donor has otherwise lived a very very healthy lifestyle. However, the use was very recent. The agency has been really good with reassurance and got Dr H on to it. I am truly overwhelmed by his rapid response. He noted that one off use should not impact on egg quality and noted CFC will screen for use and if they deem it to be a regular use the donor cannot donate. Very reassuring. CFC are truly one very professional organisation. I am so impressed with them and really grateful to Dr H.

As for our decision, we are now looking at further donor profiles and will make a decision after speaking with my local FS.

Patsy, I couldn't agree more with the previous ladies. I think anyone under 30 would be fine, but likewise I think an AMH is a very sensible plan.

To the lady who asked about whether we sought legal advice. In short no, the contracts were quite clear, so I did not feel the need.

As for sharps, I carried them with us. A small sharps container on the plane the others in stowed luggage.

Luca can looking forward to those beautiful BHCG numbers. Xx

Hi to all. So, I went to my GP this morning and I have my prescription for the pill and the Progynova but she can't give me a script for the Synarel (which I'd pretty much decided on) because she's not allowed to. I have to go to a FS which I don't have. So my options are to get a script from CFC for the international pharmacy (which will need an import permit) or go the Lucrin daily route which my GP can prescribe?
So, any thoughts on the Lucrin daily? And did anyone get an import permit for Synarel and was it difficult?
    Thanks all...

My GP couldn't prescribe synarel either. It was explained to me that it is a different schedule of drug that only be prescribed by specialists.
I took daily Lucrin with my last cycle and next time i plan to use synarel. In part to reduce the qty of needles I have to do each day. For me I would rather do synarel. (It tastes gross but can be done much more discreetly when travelling)
