Seahorse - good luck. I hope you have a fantastic holiday in SA.

KLM - not long for you. Fingers crossed that this time will work for you - the odds are it will. Good luck!

Tittle - I understand your feelings. I can imagine it just never stops until we hold that bubba in our arms. You will be OK. My donor is 20 years younger than me. that is what I just keep telling myself.....

Thanks for all your well wishes. My BT isn't until Wed - pulling my hair out! I thought it was tomorrow. I have been a bit of a POAS psycho & doing a test every day. Hubby has now taken them away from me (good move). I am just going to patiently wait until Wed. Nausea & sore boobs have kicked in. Can only imagine this will get worse

POAS Girls, you are all absolutely hilarious. Thank you for the smiles. I needed them this afternoon. Xx

Title - the good old brain has truly failed me as I meant to post this to you the other day. In fact I thought I had and then went back to see I hadn't. I think your feelings are normal for someone who has climbed every mountain to get that beautiful BFP. I know many of us (including myself) have been too scared to change signatures. I didn't start to really relax until I got to 28 weeks even then I was checking bubs heart rate with a Doppler twice a day! It does get easier when you start to feel them move, but even then I found myself having cold water or icecream to get the poor little bugger to move. Poor William, I am now sure he was just sleeping. No wonder he kicked the cr@p out of me! The big sigh of relief really comes when they are safe in your arms. Unfortunately, this infertility game sometimes takes away the beautiful naivety that is often attached to many other pregnancies. So don't be too hard on yourself Hun.

We have a well cherished dent in our main toilet's wall. It came in to existence during week 7 of my pregnancy. I had experienced a bleed at week 6 and was on bed rest, but had an appointment with our local FS for a scan. DH was so nervous and worried about the baby, that he fainted, fell off the toilet and left an image of his forehead in the gyprock. It will be a great story for William when he is older.

I know it sounds crazy, but I frequently talked to, rubbed and promised my belly that I would do everything in my power to give the little person the very best in life, all my unconditional love and do everything to protect them herein. It seemed to help.

I am am pleased you are going to decrease your working demands. Xxx

    Hi all
Just wondering when you enter into the contracts with the agency, donor etc, do people get these reviewed by lawyers in Australia?
I would hate for there to be any repercussions down the track, so just wondered what others do.
    many thanks
    xx

@pinkshootingstar, we didn't. We figured that the worst case scenario was that we would lose our $1600 if there was a dispute. We thought it highly unlikely that we would ever take them to court in Sth Africa over $1600 and vice-versa. The cost of lawyers would be so much more than $1600 to do that.

    Seahorse: Have a good flight!

AFM: we've decided to go ahead with our donor in spite of the mild depression. Just waiting to hear back from Dr W as to whether we should get an AMH test done (she's donated before but not for 18 months...)

Off to my GP on Thursday to see if she can prescribe the first lot of medication. Think I'm going to go for the Synarel. Does anyone know if Estradiol Valerate is available in Australia?
    Thanks all.

Best of luck Seahorse! Safe trip.

For those that have been over already, really random silly question, did you bring back the sharps bin with you or leave it behind? I left it behind the first time as we were worried they wouldn't let us take it as it would have used needles already in there.
