Thanks to everyone who wished us well. Another quick update from me, I had my secon BT yesterday and beta was 1250!! It still feels like a dream and I don't have any symptoms at all. I'll update after we come back to Australia in a weeks time,I'm enjoying warm winter in Durban at the moment.

Warm welcome to all newbies and I wish you all the best in your journey.

So good to see so many positives! And great to see Blinky preparing for another trip. I'm always in awe of how brave everyone on here is.

Thanks for asking about me, Sunny. I have had a bad week. Cramping was terrible but CFC gave me the OK to go ahead with my usual pain regimen and the same goes for my treatment period (which is now due less than a month from today!). Dr LR emailed back within the hour. I was in way too much pain, though, to say a proper thanks to him!

Guess I will thank him in person when I met him in August!

Our donor sent us a mothers day message via the agency. It made me cry and came just at the right time during the worst of the cramping. Feeling better today, however, and enjoying my two days off!

Thanks January for the updated roll call! We love following everyone's stories and knowing that we arent alone! I think it's particularly beneficial to DH who passes on all your news and all the ups and downs when I cant get to read the thread myself.

Back to my tea, panadol and a good movie for me

Wow, so much wonderful news on here! And all the twins too! Brilliant.

Babydreamer, what date are you heading over? Is it end of July? I can't recall if I already asked. I'm there on 8th July.

How lovely Tittle, that you got a Mother's Day message from your donor. So sweet if her. Hope u feel better soon.

Just wondering if any of you ladies/gents have ever done a double donor cycle? Or more accurately used donor eggs and done a 50/50 split on sperm? (50% DH/50%DSp)
It was a suggestion raised by my Australia FS and we are considering it due to DH elevated FISH result.

Anyone else had to deal with similar ?

Hi Blinky, I think that is a great idea to maximize your chances of success as long as you are both comfortable letting go of a genetic link. I can't remember if anyone has done this or not but I would imagine like our cycle with 2 egg donors we were told that we could only transfer embryos from one even if we were left with one embryo from donor A and one from donor B. As it turned out the decision was taken out of our hands as the back up donor embryos were the only good ones. All the best with your research and planning

A really silly question...did anyone take Vegemite with you? Lol I'm a Vegemite kid, both of us really and won't be able to without. I bought the Vegemite in the tube packaging and just wondering if you can actually take it in luggage. My DF is worried saying you can't take food. But it is sealed and we can leave it there once opened.

lol... no we didn't take Vegemite. I'm sure you could get it through they didn't even look at our luggage.
    Em x
