    Hi all.
So, after much deliberation, sleepless nights and all-round stress, we've decided on a donor and have signed the contract. Gulp. Hoping to go to SA in November all being well. Excited and nervous because I so want this to work but trying to prepare myself in case it doesn't...
Thanks for all your advice re choosing a donor. We're going for a proven donor who's had successful pregnancies so (and I think MardiCharli asked the same thing?) I'm thinking we probably don't need to test for AMH and AFC? There will be about 18 months between donations.

Patsy - Congratulations on choosing a donor. If I every get my act together, I was hoping on being there in November, so would love to catch up if our travel time coincides. Furthermore, if you happen to be Brizzy girl, I am happy to catch up before hand.

I am still having great difficulty with the donor selection process and am feeling quite overwhelmed with it all. One would think it would be easier the second time round, but I have even been having second thoughts about the whole process. DH has completely shut down the donor with the nut allergy. Whilst I understand his concern, I can't help but think nut allergies seem to be a bit of a gamble and we could end up having a child with one regardless.

Take care ladies and gent. Xxx

Good luck Luca - for transfer and getting all your booty home!!

    Best wishes to everyone else!

Sebastian and I are off to Qld this week to introduce him to his great aunt and uncles! All in their 90s but going strong. So looking forward to a week of firsts including Seb's first time on a plane and first time to the beach. He will also be six months old on Friday!!

Patsy - Huge congrats on booking your donor! It took us another week to get Dr W's approval for our donor then documents signed and money paid but all was settled Fri. Yay! Such a relief. Now the waiting begins.
Laned - we are also aiming to be in CT in November. Be lovely to have a group catchup. I'm not a Brizzy girl tho.
Luca - everything crossed for you for a great transfer and even more special souvenirs from CT! By the way, can I ask how you finally got your giraffe home? They sound cute, and I might want one too!
AFM - donor signed and paid for. Waiting for CFC and testing now. As Patsy asked, did anyone have a proven donor's AMH and AFC tested?
Best wishes to those cycling and those waiting at the mo.
