    Hi everyone and thank you so much for caring. It really does help.

    DH walked for a couple of hours last night and came home quietly. I decided not to make an issue of his behaviour but instead to focus on my own. Having a few hours to think about things last night helped me realize how negative my own thought patterns, and consequently my actions, have become. I'm constantly feeling that DS is a burden instead of a joy. So instead of doing what my instincts were telling me - which was to rip DH a new big messy one - I pulled my head in and focused on DS as the best bubba in the world. Consequently DH has been more relaxed and happy, and is trying to be the better person he used to be. He has bought up the subject a few times, but I've told him that we shouldn't dwell on the past but to focus on making the now and the future more positive for the 3 of us.

    Having today off work with DS in daycare was also great for me. I cleaned the house which has made me happier, knitted and watched a movie (Thor - for the eye candy!). I feel much better about being me today. I have to stop judging myself - it's a bad pattern I fall into when stressed, and really I've been thru enough therapy that I should recognize it sooner!

    And guess what? No alcohol today

    Good for you Waggers, how blissful to spend the day pottering around and doing some things that are just so relaxing nice and normal, you just need to keep taking that regular time for yourself, already you sound like a happier lady xxxx
