wow ow I am surprised. When I had DS I had already had a miscarriage at 11 weeks and still DS was considered low risk. With my last pregnancy I was considered low risk after 4 IVF attempts and 4 miscarriages at that point. At the 12 week scan we realised my an was very ill and he passed a few weeks later but still low risk and was induced.

My gp and ob have told me that unless there is a significant complication during pregnancy I will be low risk that the conception itself doesn't indicate a higher risk for the pregnancy.

isnt it incredible how they all have their own preferences and advice.

Oh that's interesting they all thought that. Studies have shown that the only difference between ivf and naturally conceived babies is they are 38gs lighter at birth and are born a couple days earlier on average and not more likely to have complications (and there are more boys too). Which I think is reassuring for us

@Soques Thank you so much for your comfort and congratulations for your BFP!! I'm always so happy for everyone to share this news and hope one day it would be my turn. My BT is next Fri but I knew this cycle is busted.
@MrsChino Thank you for your comfort. I have heard some women successfully had babies from 2 cell on day 2 transfer. However, I also understand that not everyone will lucky to success on the first try so will try to hang in there! Wish you all the best in this cycle too.

Hi everyone, I've been offline for a while now so haven't caught up, but did see that congratulations are in order for @Soques - woohoo, you go girl !! I just thought I'd post an update. Last month had my final (8th) ivf round and then decided to go on the egg donor wait list. My clinic have roughly a 12 month turnaround for egg donors, 2 years at the worst, and they did have 1 lady once come off the list in only 3 months. Well, I finally put in the application last Monday and IN ONLY 10 DAYS I have a donor !!!!! OMG I am so excited !!!! She looked at all the applications and chose us !! I still believe its because of our age and the fact that we have no kids between us, but who cares why, yippie ki yo kiyay I say !!!! She's not available till October, so November transfer. I better get my exercise gear on and get myself baby ready quick smart !! OMG OMG OMG

Thanks, it would have been October for transfer except they need to wait for my 3 month cooling off period so I assume they will freeze all when she cycles in October and then transfer a couple of weeks after that. I still can't believe it. I have had nothing but bad luck for the last two years and something has actually gone right !! Woop woop ! I think the clinic nurse was as shocked and excited as me

My story is TTC for 3.5years with 8 months on clomid to no success so now we are onto the IVF journey. We have been through egg retrival with 3 tough surviors. 1 was transferred 2 frozen all day 3 blasts. 1st transfer didnt take (crappy day) now onto 2nd transfer and this is where my question comes from:
So i have 2 good eggs frozen and the health nurse asked if we wanted to thaw both n blast 2 more days to transfer 1 n refreeze 1, if all goes to plan? As this is my first time I asked for her opinion and she said that is usually what they do with good results My question is, what have you done if asked (i do realise all our eggies are different) but thought i would ask

Thanks for any input inadvance and positive vibes to all of us who are chasing those 2 pink lines
Hi @kholli I've got no idea about your question sorry but welcome to the thread I usually just rely on best advice of my specialist ... Good luck
