Welcome @KyLiE2014. Sorry I don't have any experience with Menopur (this is my first cycle starting any day and I'll be on puregon and orgalutran) but there are heaps of lovely knowledgable ladies on here so I'm sure someone will be able to help you out with your question! Are you doing ICSI? I am. Hope you get good results for your ultrasound & bloods on Monday.

how are you going in your tww @Soques?
Not doing to bad... Have a bit of tightness in my abdomen... And a bit of sharp pain every once in a while... No bleeding yet... Which is a good sign....and feeling really really tired... So taking everything as good measures... BT on Wednesday.

Went shopping today... And going to the food markets tomorrow... So keeping busy.

    [TMI warning]

I'm so constipated and gassy that even the dogs want to leave the room
This happened to me too- I had to result to movicol sachets cos it reached critical point! If you can get to the chemist- movicol sachets are great. I swear progesterone support is the devil- I have a cold on top of all of it so I'm just the definition of a nightmare right now. @Ree888 - I really hope you are ok- apparently the pain is just awful- make sure you are drinking gastrolyte sachets or similar. I think the outcome of transfer if there is even a niggle of OHSS is just a waste of an embie- a FET will be the way to go for sure

I have been through many any stims too many regarding constipation here are my go to tips
    Pre EPU
I eat relatively spicy foods or soups a laksa or spicy wanton noodle soup lots of fibre and fluids to ensure I have a decent bowel motion the morning of EPU.
Post EPU high fibre foods. 1ltr of pear juice afternoon of EPU it makes me feel extremely nauseous the sweetness but that and some licorice and always KFC!!!! I will go that night and regularly daily there after. If I don't do this I am howling bent over crawling in pain within 3 days.

I have to ensure I get it done day of EPU or end up in terrible trouble. It's important for a number of reasons constipated is sign of dehydration. Dehydration is bad for embryo transfer our embryos are made up mostly of fluid if your dehydrated your body will rob your embies of the fluid and they won't implant. Secondly if your constipated with pain and cramping you stomach and bowels have blood and tension close uterus. My Chinese medicine spec says the blood needs to be at the uterus and without cramping for the embie to implant. No tension serene comfortable.

They also say to stay warm better to be too warm then cold. Socks always even at transfer I always wear socks at ET.

I drink everyday 3lt water during cycle I am closer to 4.5-5.5 ltr it helps with the Bowels and the embryo chance of survival.

@Bellavista I feel your pain! CD38 for me. The joys of PCOS
@Ree888 I'm sorry Hun. From what I've heard OHSS is horribly painful. Sending hugs. Acupunture is supposed to relieve the symptoms and provide quite quick relief. Might be worth considering a session? As a few others have said a frozen transfer has a good chance of success, maybe even more than a fresh. Fingers crossed.

Welcome Nadylady and Kylie! I hope your journeys are short and easy

I have just taken my last primolut so come on AF. I Cant wait to call the clinic and get my schedule.

Ree888- Sorry to hear ur transfer was cancelled, ohss sounds awful. I hope you make a quick recovery and ur little frozen ones stick. Xxx

Kylie2014- welcome I hope u get good results on Monday. I agree it would be frustrating when people give you grief about ivf, until they experience the want and emptiness I guess it's hard for them to understand.

Nady lady- goodluck my first round will be starting soon too. Excited and nervous all in one

Bellavista- AF always comes when ur not prepared, I think u have it a good shot lol

Akakura- from what I have read people who have pco usually have a higher number at epu, my fs has told me it's about quality not quantity. I have a feeling I'm going to pull a big number, hope there is a good egg in there

AF is so far 2 days late but on average when not cycling it comes as cd 26 and I am now cd30. Last time on Syneral I was cd34/35 I think so a few more days for me I guess Tuesday it will be here

I thought for sure on my long cycle I would get it but nope.
