    Hi ladies,

@Twinkley - Welcome, I hope you're IVF experience is short and sweet!

@MrsChino - I'm sorry to hear about your follicles, it is very disheartening. But I I'm glad you have two instead of none! Big hugs! I'm hoping more pop up on your next scan over the next few days!

Welcome @Bluemeeple - Wow those are great numbers for EPU! I hope they are able to find healthy sperm for all your mature eggs. I had 26 eggs and my cycle was not cancelled, but I was not suffering any OHSS symptoms. I totally relate with trying not to go "google crazy". I google everything way to much!
@Butterly39 - great haul hun and great fertilization numbers! Grow healthy embies grow!

Welcome @ Sheret1230 - I can imagine you're shock getting that news after having a healthy DD. Glad they were able to isolate the issue and that IVF will allow you to have more children. Good luck, hope AF comes soon.

@Ree888 - great haul hun for only one ovary! Yay! Grow embies grow!

Welcome @Bellavista - wow hun, you are a long-term IVF warrior woman. I hope and pray that is cycle works for you. Best of luck as you start.
@ScubaGal - yay for the trigger and a set date for EPU! You must be excited!

@BabyOB - I would 12 to 14 days later if on a 28 day cycle? Bring on AF for you're FET!

AFM - I have my second BETA tomorrow morning to ensure HCG is still rising. Hoping to see high numbers! Still in Phuket for another two weeks. We are in seedy Patong at the moment - to much partying, ladyboys and gross old men with hot young Thai girls! Changing to a quieter resort to soak up some serenity.

I am a long term ivf girl. Back here for round 8 - lucky number 8.

I am a poor responder (AMH is great for my age though) for the first 6 cycles 3 eggs each time, changed FS to Wazza he jacked up the meds DHEA, Melatonin, all the supplements under the sun, Human Growth hormone and got a whooping 17 eggs. 7 fertilied but by day5/6 nothing to transfer we have a sperm issue. DH is on Arimidex to try to assist the quality and quantity. Picking up meds on Thursday been on DHEA, Melatonin and all the extra plus Syneral since the 9th July also on Provera and Progynova to boost me as I get really depressed on syneral.

I think this will be the last go. We have to fly to Brisbane for the cycle from Cairns and the cost is close to $13K with all the meds, flights, accommodation and paying for scans here in Cairns. I just not sure how much more we can do mentally after this one.

Going for PICSI if the sperm is good enough last time after TESA it wasn't. We will head down a few days before and bank a sample to avoid TESA again and go for fresh on the day.

Will keep you all updated as I progress. good luck to everyone will read back over the thread.
Awesome to have you on the thread with us. Good luck chick

@Ree888 wow 14 eggs that is awesome! You deserve it after the bumps over the last few years. Good chance for a number of frosties with that haul!
@mummymaybe re the small number of follies, not sure if you are doing icsi already but that might be an idea. Even if there isn't any MF issues icsi helps to maximise the fert rate when you are dealing with a small number of eggs. My DH has no issues but we are doing icsi this time as I'm a low responder so not expecting many eggies.
    @Butterfly39 good luck with EPU!
@Soques so happy for you what a fantastic frostie rate.gee it really seems the extra vitamins in prep have been the silver bullet for you!

AFM I'm jabbing away day 4, am on 300 gonal f now definitely started feeling bloated from day 2. I went and saw a naturopath yesterday so have some witch poo herbs & q10. have my first US on Thursday, I don't really have any expectations re numbers anymore as my experience so far is less=more.

Good luck girls and welcome to the new ladies!

Hi ladies, has anyone changed FS and lab if they already have frosties? I'm just wondering how it works if you can transfer your frosties over to another lab and FS. I'm just thinking if I get some frosties this cycle (positive vibes) how it works if you want to change to another FS who is aligned with a different clinic. Has anyone done that? Thanks!

I'd be worried about defrosting/damage moving the frosties... Read somewhere in my clinics marketing guff that one of their selling points is having everything on site so there's no potential for damage in moving things about compared to clinics where the freezer is offsite... Then again that could be just marketing spin. Surely frozen is frozen?

Will be interesting to see what others say, I met a girl at my clinic today who is looking to switch FS and she also wondered how easy it is to change it up although at least in her case it would be a different dr, same place.

We did talk about removing the endometrioma, and if this cycle doesn’t work out I might have another lap to clear things out before trying again. It’s only 4cm at this stage, so we were hopeful it wouldn’t interfere, but you never know. I had a much larger endometrioma removed from that same ovary last year, so there’s a fair chance it hasn’t been working all along. We also talked about changing the drug protocol next time to try and get more out of righty, but we’ll make a call on that once my bloods are back and I have another scan on Saturday. Then there’s always the possibility that one of those 2 follies is ‘the one’, or more might spring up in the next day or two.

So, there’s plenty to be hopeful about. I have to say, it is so good to have this forum to talk about this stuff
Not sure if your also aware but sometimes even with IVF one ovary is dominant over the other... So if it didn't stimulate well this month it might stim better next month as they can take alternative turns... Just a thought as well. Hope your feeling better... I know it's hard when things just don't go according to plan.

Great... About the same has my DH... Has he been doing any BT monitoring and sperm sample monitoring while on it?

No as we are still in cairns and FS in brissie. We will go down a few days early and freeze a sample just in case with his disability he can't provide fresh on the day.
