Default Hoping to join you ladies?

Hi, I was wondering if I could join you ladies... ? I am hoping to be able to do a natural FET in July/August with our last frosty! I don't know much about the protocols (and will be seeing the FS next week)... Would really like some cycle buddies! I a bit excited, nervous, anxious and worry about the thaw mostly...

    1 x natural BFP - Girl (Feb 2008)
    1 x ISCI IVF BFP - Girl (Jan 2013)

@Ree888 @Nezz79 I'm curious too about when an FS will transfer more than one embryo at a time... My clinic (Genea) seems to not do it on principle... Is it uncommon to put two in at once? Are the risks associated with a multiple birth really that bad?

@scubagirl I was wondering the same thing...is the risk of multiples to big of a risk? I am tentatively considering putting two embies back in this cycle. I am on Day 6 of my cycle…so EC and ET will be very early July! One reason I am considering do this is because I am overseas for this cycle and to come back for a FET with any potential frosties will be difficult with my job. Plus having two embies in will increase my chances of becoming pregnant. Of course, multiples pose real health risks…for mum and hub…so maybe not worth the risk. I am torn and undecided.

I think it really depends on your FS. First time around mine was flat out no as it was my first time doing ivf and I had age on my side. Since there's been a bit of stuff that has happened in my body since then and I'm 3 yrs older, he was more open to it. My chances of one embryo taking aren't great let alone 2 - so if it was to work and I ended up with twins - it'd be a bloody miracle!! I have only just started reading up on the risks associated with twins so am slowly educating myself. I'm comfortable with it all, I think it's a process you go through in your own mind. I have heard some clinics are happy to do 2 embryos for women over 35 providing they'd had a failed cycle previously?

    2009 - 2010 - diagnosed with severe endo - 2 x laps, 1 x laparotomy to remove endo.
    2011 - IVF - 1st cycle - chemical pregnancy, FET - BFN, 2nd FET - BFN
2013 - another laparotomy - lost right ovary and tube to a 15cm endometrioma
    2014 - beginning IVF again...

Thanks @Ree888 I'm also hoping for a positive month and trying really hard to stay positive about it all. I'm taking it as a good sign that our first cycle will coincide with the Tour De France, DH is very into cycling

I'm making a lot of lifestyle changes too, so I can be as centred and well as possible through the cycle.. I'm avoiding alcohol, caffeine, soy milk and trying to keep sugar cut well down, plus doing yoga every couple of days (at home with a yoga app).

Anyone else on a wellness kick?

Thanks for the welcome :-) I am trying not to get ahead of myself. Hopefully this is #3 and we are done. If it doesn't work I don't think we would do another stim cycle (it will be all over for us) so am excited but scared at the same time. I have been thinking about the birth too, will be a csec (had 2 already) but they still scare me just thinking about it...!

I am assuming I will be doing a natural fet (we had mfi, I have normal hormone function and I havent had any issues carrying - touch wood) can anyone fill me in on the sequence of a fet?
