Not in the best mindset tonight
ah well it's not over til tomorrow when we get the fertilization result I guess.
@Ducky01 I am really sorry about your numbers, I would be really p! Ssed off. Make sure you question your fs. It is your body, your money and your right to know. Given the progress I would have expected an increase in meds, delayed epu or cancelled cycle. I would not be happy. Ask for some answers and push for a 2nd discounted cycle (if thats what you want) thier monitoring should be better and pick this sort of thing up. I would also consider changing clinics if they don't take you seriously. It is a stressful time without having to deal with their lack of care/interest/monitoring? too. Best of luck with that one anyway. It really only takes 1!

Yea you are right- it really isn't good enough on the clinics behalf. My blood results have been low the whole time but I never got given the result of my Friday test and just assumed it was ok given they had scheduled me for EPU but then a nurse in recovery said it was probably the reason for the low number- first I had even heard it was still low.
I know first cycles can be trial and error but that's a damn expensive trial, particularly if it was a bit screwy from the get go. ah well- a miracle may happen with the one in the lab tonight.

@babygirl1 lithopone alfa 75 iu that what it had on packet. Blood test are included with mine had 3 in week before egg collection . Didn't ice as my Accupunturist said that I don't have a lot of warmth in my stomach to start with and has been treating that and that ice would just make it cold again . Sometimes orgalutran injection stung just as I was putting the neddle in so moved it . I was also advised to take a deep breath and put neddle in on out breath as muscles aren't as tight
Hope that helps I stressed heaps about in and didn't need to but everyone reacts differently just go in positive
I went right into surgery today listening to a meditation cd so glad I did stopped me from freaking out and scaring my eggs away lol

May I ask all what do you ladies pay per stim cycle?? I was given an eating of $13k for our stim.
I'm on 150 of GonalF which the nurse said was a fairly standard amount? I've had one blood test so far and got another one in the morning. I think that the clinic does quite a lot of blood tests as well as the ultrasounds.

My quote is 9500 per cycle before Medicare rebate, works out to about 5000 after rebate.

Congrats @Soques on your fab numbers - I hope you get fantastic fertilization rates too
@Ducky01 so sorry to hear about your disappointing results love. You must be completely gutted. I would be asking lots of questions and considering a change of clinic after a blunder like that. I'm thinking of you.

AFM - just saw doc - at least 6 follies so far of a good size. Doc was happy with that after 5 doses of puregon from 200 to 300 to ensure I don't stall, and egg pickup is due to be next Tuesday. So so happy my one little ovary is responding well - it's scary only having one to rely on.

    2009 - 2010 - diagnosed with severe endo - 2 x laps, 1 x laparotomy to remove endo.
    2011 - IVF - 1st cycle - chemical pregnancy, FET - BFN, 2nd FET - BFN
2013 - another laparotomy - lost right ovary and tube to a 15cm endometrioma
    2014 - beginning IVF again...

Do you actually get to see a doctor during your cycle?? Is that normal for everyone else? I only get phone calls about what to do next in terms of more scans etc from the nurses- no info on follicle numbers or measurements or blood results unless I ask (which I only did once.)
Maybe I do need to investigate other clinics. It will be interesting to see if I get a follow up phone call from my specialist about this cycle being a flop or if it has to wait til the end of August for my review appointment and I'm in the dark til then.
Congrats to those that got great numbers yesterday- very well deserved. Everything crossed for all our fertilization results today.

Hey @Ducky01 when I go into for BT and scans... The nurses do the job and they are the ones to call me. But the scan is done in a way that I can see on the monitor and the scanning ladies tell me how many and how big... When FN calls they don't give BT number unless you ask, and I really don't want to know as they wouldn't make any sense to me anyway... But I have had my FS call when she wasn't happy or wanted to talk me through some things...

    And like this morning...

FS called me before the nurses to tell me my fertility results... She was sooooo excited that she wanted to talk to me personally... I have gotten 7 out of 7 fertilised... So will defiantly be going in to see her on Saturday as along as they all keep growing properly...

I am excited I might have some frosties... Will know more when fn calls... But tears of joy happened here...
